SUMMER SKIES 2011

The summer of 2011 has been relaxing and eventful.  Spent time knitting and sewing. Only had a few very hot days. Which suited me. Kept up with the swimming, but not as many days. Kept working on the weight loss goal. So far 56.5 lbs have vanished. YAY.  Still have a few more to go before the goal is reached.
June was busy with sewing numbers on Jerseys. 
July  held a visit from my niece, my  60th birthday, and visited with a distant in-law
Aug. was very busy with jerseys and My girl came home from Ont. for two weeks. :))) We went see "Wicked" and then we had the opportunity to the Blue Man Group. My son is friends with one of the guys in the band so we meet after the show for a meal and a great visit. 
We celebrated my daughters 25 birthday. had a family BQ, All in all it was a great summer.

A DAY ON THE WEB and ANNOYING PHONE CALLS

Spent the day editing my website, that seems to take me so long. At the same time there were a few annoying phone calls offering everything from  complete debt reduction to special Walmart offers, (which buy the way is the first for me). Each of which I  politely refused. Only to get a little annoyed when the next call came. I should know better than to answer unknown numbers.
But I will keep smiling :)

A Fun Day

First went church with family. Did a little sewing,  went swimming for an hour and a half :)). Swam in the big pool. That was great. Even though I will be 60 this year I feel like a kid. Then to top that I  bought a smaller bathing suit. I give all The Praise to My Lord Jesus for the continuing strength he gives.

A Creative Day

Today is a day for sewing something other than numbers on Jerseys. For  finishing  up some dolls fashions, some knitting, reading, relaxing, and  maybe some new creative projects.

A New Look

Thought it was time to change the look of my blog. I may change again. Been working on losing some extra pounds as well, so far 30 lbs have gone.  yeah
