"SOMETIMES" a poem by me

Well today has been house cleaning day. Mostly sorting out papers and junk While sorting things out I found this poem I had written a few years back, so, I thought I would put it here so I would not forget where it was. Here goes.
Sometimes
Sometimes I feel like a little child, insecure and afraid,
In need of some tender care and strength to meet the day.
So I go to my Father, who is always there and rest my weary heart.
He sheds His light within my soul, and new life begins to spark
In His tender loves embrace, a steadfast strength appears,
To reasure my childish heart and vanish all my fears.

Sometimes I feel a hurt so strong. that brings a need to cry.
From deep within my soul I long to know the reason why.
Then a voice so gentle says,"One day I cried for you,
Will you, for a moment, let me share the burden you bare?
Then freely yielding my heart and soul to the Spirit's call
I surrender the burden that is in need of being deeply shared.

Sometimes I feel I am in-between, unsure of which way to go,
Should I go up this hill or through that valley low.
When all I 've tried seems to have failed, I hear His voice again..
He speaks of strength and courage and His light to lead the way.
" I 've been this way, He says along this dusty trail,
So put your hand in mine, I'll lead ore hill and dale."

Sometimes I feel I rule the world and no one stands in my way,
So self -assured of my own way, I am blind to the fall ahead.
When my way seems hard to find and I fall and fail again.
From deep within my heart His voice speak soft and clear.
He speaks with great authority, so I quite myself to hear.
Realizing all the while, It is He who should rule my world.
